Three new plant openings within only few weeks: Purem by Eberspächer is expanding in Asia. With the new location in Xuchang, China, and the two new locations of the joint venture between Purem Aapico in Rawang, Malaysia, and Rayong, Thailand, the local market presence is increasing.
A MAJOR STEP IN THE ASEAN MARKET

With an area of 4,000 square meters, the plant focuses on the production of exhaust gas aftertreatment systems for the ASEAN market. The opening marks an important milestone for the joint venture and highlights the growing interest in environmentally friendly mobility solutions in the region. With the potential to expand the plant up to 7,000 square meters and operate at full capacity, the company will contribute to the growth and development of the Malaysian automotive industry. In addition to supplying premium and sustainable exhaust systems to vehicle manufacturers, new jobs will be created, pioneering technologies will be introduced and the workforce will be upskilled.
A FURTHER BOOST FOR CLEAN MOBILITY
Just two days after the launch in Malaysia, the partners opened another plant in Rayong, Thailand. With an area of over 3,000 square meters, this plant will produce exhaust systems for a leading US car manufacturer. The rapid implementation of this project demonstrates the dynamic and success of the partnership between Purem by Eberspächer and AAPICO Hitech. Martin Peters is impressed by the rapid development and emphasizes the growing presence for clean mobility in the region: "It is impressive to see how successfully this new partnership is developing. INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR LOCAL EMISSION LEGISLATION
Only a short time later, the management opened a new technology plant in Xuchang, China. With an area of over 7,000 square meters, the plant will produce exhaust aftertreatment systems for Chinese car manufacturers – and is therefore firmly focused on clean mobility. With an annual capacity of 500,000 units, including hot-end systems with catalytic converters and particulate filters as well as cold-end systems, the acoustics specialist is meeting the growing demand for innovative exhaust aftertreatment systems. All products comply with the strict Chinese emission standard "National VI". The new location represents the next step in Purem by Eberspächer's business development in Asia. The geographical proximity of the plant in Xuchang offers optimal customer support.
