In 2008, Eberspächer proudly opened its in-house daycare center "Glühwürmchen" in Esslingen. This successful model promotes the compatibility of family and career and shapes the future of children.
FAMILY-OWNED COMPANY WITH A VISION
The compatibility of family and career is at the heart of Eberspächer's corporate philosophy. "Providing an efficient childcare infrastructure is extremely important to our company," emphasizes Managing Partner Martin Peters. The "Glühwürmchen" facility provides professional childcare for children aged one to six for 15 years. The company not only focuses on securing skilled workers, but also on full-time employment through flexible childcare services. With opening hours from 7:15 am to 5:45 pm and short closing times during the vacations, Eberspächer offers an attractive solution directly on the company premises.
The children have plenty of space to play, learn and relax on around 1,100 square meters. Among other things, the facility offers a "bug room" for the little ones, a discovery workshop, a studio and an exercise room. The spacious roof terrace with sandpit and playhouse encourages exercise in the fresh air.

PROMINENT GUESTS
Prominent guests such as Olympic champion Georg Hackl and Esslingen's mayor Matthias Klopfer congratulated the facility on its 15th anniversary on September 22, 2023. Around 100 guests, including parents, children and former "Glühwürmchen", celebrated the success of the program.
Over the past 15 years, Eberspächer has not only built a bridge between family and career with "Glühwürmchen", but also created a positive environment for the development of the next generation. The path to a successful future begins at an early age, and Eberspächer is pursuing this path with commitment and conviction.
